The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

The Mill Works is an award winning office complex in Midlothian VA across from the Midlothian Library. The architecture is reminiscent of the spare style used in the old Mill works that was situated in the same location. The majority of the building is built with brick and mortar there is also metal siding like what you see in the image. This kind of siding was probably used as an "add on" to the original brick building. At the time it was a building material of lessor quality because it was not the same high quality metal and thickness that is used in the Mill Works siding. The siding adds interest and atmosphere with the feeling of an earlier time. The image is one wall with two windows repeated on a layers program creating a pattern. Colors of green, blue and gold have been added.
