To commemorate his time in the Navy I decided to create a series of drawings and paintings of the ships he had served on and present them to him after his last Hale and Farewell. He loved the gift, and so did many of his Navy friends. After experiencing the enjoyment that my husband had over receiving the paintings and getting multiple requests to do more, I am now working on painting portraits of the rest of the ships that are currently in service including submarines, small boats, and aviation. I also enjoy painting ocean scenes, landscapes, portraits, and sometimes weird things.
