The Tennessee Theatre originally opened in 1928 on Gay Street in Knoxville, TN. Built by George M. Fuller, the theatre was a testament to the grandeur of its time. After a full renovation, inside and outside, the theatre reopened in 2005 as a venue for concerts and movies. The marquee has been restored to its original state. The new bulbs are LED, but the marquee still shines bright on downtown Knoxville.
