Memories Of A Child - The top of the second tallest point in Iowa has a stone tower sitting on top of it. The tower was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps back in 1934 and is located in Pilot Knob State park east of Forest City Iowa.

I enjoy the Pilot Knob Tower for the views it gives and the memories of the first times I went up as a young boy and could barely see over the top. Some places always remain close to us because of the memories it brings back.
