Medium
Painting - Watercolor On Paper
Description
Another button accordion from the collection of accordionist Dan Possumato, this model is Irish made. I wanted a slightly more playful/cartoonish version to add to this series while still maintaining a connection with the other three accordions in the series. Each in the series needed to remain an individual and yet still tie together with the others to preserve the continuity of the group. This particular piece is painted with a combination of Daniel Smith Primatek and Rublev 18th century reproduction watercolor paints and is on a substrate of Arches 140# cold-pressed paper. The original piece is 14"x10.25" in size.

Ken, I have said this before but I will say it again. YOU never cease to amaze me with your artwork on FAA. I love accordians and you have done a great series/ There is something about accordians that reminds me of happy times. There's a folksy feeling and you can almost hear the music play & see people dancing... Shine on, Anne
