A parade goer waves her hand at unseen float riders on this Woman Power float. The background image is a vintage portrait of a woman raising her fisted hand. The participant's raised hand is next to the fisted hand. This was taken on the Sunday before Mardi Gras Day when three daytime parades rolled down Magazine Street on to St. Charles Ave. and downtown New Orleans. A color version is available, too.
