This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
If you've ever been to Marco Island Florida you are probably familiar with the beautiful sandbars and beaches there. I painted Marco Island Beach after taking a catamaran cruise to some offshore sandbars with my family. The shorebirds were amazing. I love how they line up on the beach with the wind and wanted to capture the scene on canvas. My hope is you can imagine the warm midday sun and breeze on your face!
About Steve Haigh
Indiana painter Steve Haigh spent his formative years in Toledo, OH where from a very young age his love for the outdoors was born. As a teenager Steve attended Outward Bound in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado which opened his eyes to some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. This experience, more than anything, cemented his lifelong love for landscapes and the West. After receiving the Artist Award at his High School graduation, Steve went on to Miami University where he focused on a business degree. Yet while studying business, he was still able to squeeze in seven semesters of ceramics to continue to live out his passion for all things artistic!
