Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I'm a traveling Gyotaku artist from Portsmouth Virginia - a historic port city on the Chesapeake Bay. I've been involved with a number of graphic arts since high school including photography and computer graphics design. I've been doing Gyotaku 'fish rubbings' since 2005 to have a unique and precise way to record the fish I catch. It's also a good way for me to share memories of fun days on the water with friends. There is a story behind every Gyotaku - sometimes it's an adventure, sometimes a once in a lifetime accomplishment.
