This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

This is my first ORIGINAL “digitally hand painted portrait” similar to what I hope to hand paint in a series for my friend and hairdresser who is anticipating opening her own place. the canvases arrived today and so the series will probably launch next week! The plan will involve traditional impasto on a hand painted tangle backdrop on white canvas. I am TRYing to learn the Procreate app my husband gifted me with two years ago! My first attempt, last November was to add digital effects on my hand painted watercolour last November 2021. This is my second attempt…first at digital HAND painting…yes…one works from a palette, selects brushes…in this case it was a drawing “tool” with a limited palette from which to work. It was an oddly similar to Colour pencil…and I am hopeful with help from my FAA “friends” that I will be able to learn to layer and name and create files… I have a scheduled Play date and tutorial tomorrow!…wish me luck! Conni, I am posting this...
