On my way back from China, I stayed in a hotel in DC; the flight had been long, a 13-hour straight-shot: I was really tired. I also had little hope of seeing the lunar eclipse on that night, I believe it was the 27th. Anyway, I looked out of the hotel window, and I couldn't believe it! There was the moon, and the eclipse had just begun. So, between the hit-and-miss cloud cover, I captured a few handheld images of this special event. As I was looking through the images, I started to arrange them in their natural black night sky canvas, and what formed was a heart, so that's what we've got here--Heart moons and love to the moon and back!
