Description
Lotus of Hamakua.
A lush district
on the Big Island of Hawaii.
This scene depicts the different stages of
the flower's growth.. and the reaching ,

( while our roots remain deep stuck in the muddy pond muck ! )
this painting was created for Anne....
in honor of our feminine stages of growth.

As I lay gazing at the Michigan summer sky, childhood memories come flooding back to me of innocent friendships spent looking for pools to swim, dolls to play with, and looking for the best Popsicles. Your artwork is beautiful and I hope your life has been good to you! -your childhood friend from Saginaw, Kathy Kring:)
