Description
This 22x30 inch watercolor was created in three stages, each done with the eyes closed. The first two stages were applying miskit (latex removeable cover), the third, watercolor. The last phase, done with eyes open was placing dots that integrated the color sequences. It has the feeling of a spiralic formatrion of life, as if lotus blossoms or lilies are exploding out of a spiraling center. It is one of my favorite paintings because of the colors. It has been exhibited and sold as a large print,. It is number 4 in a series., painted in 2003.

I am delighted you feel this. I feel the same with the original . It is one of my favorites. Unfortunately it was too large to bring back with me from Mexico. So nice to hear from you.

Nikki, this is wonderful for me, your discovery. Again, the original is something else, and one of the very few paintings I have kept with me over the years. Unfortunately it had to be left behind (too big for the plane). Hopefully we'll reunite one day.
