I love the anticipation of the fireworks. Waiting at the perfect spot with my camera set on a tripod ready to capture the beautiful fireworks. There is electricity in the air. I wait fro two or three before closing the shutter. No time to see my results until the end. It's the beautiful colrs and the randomness that attract me. This July fourth I also had a moon with no clouds to cover it. Looks like the man in the moon is enjoying it too.

Award winning photographer, Penny Lisowski, started using a Nikon 35mm camera in1979. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and now lives with her childhood sweetheart, Chuck in Winder, Ga. to be near their family,including grandsons Ryan and Greg. In 1992 her husband, Chuck, encouraged her to enter her first exhibition at Photo 92. That first ribbon was just the beginning and since then Penny has won awards at many art shows and exhibitions.
