When heading out to the Texas HIll Country in search of wildflowers, I was a bit disappointed because the weather was not cooperating. The skies were overcast and a bit of drizzle permeated the air. However, just outside Llano, Texas, I found this pair of Texas Longhorns resting in a field of Texas Wildflowers. The cloudy weather and soft diffused light was perfect for making this image of longhorns in a field of wildflowers. The Indian Blankets (firewheels) added color to their lazy Texas Hill Country afternoon in this iconic image of Texas.
