Drawn using one of my own photographs as reference, I used mostly Sakura pigma micron marker pens and an Akashiya Sai ink brush pen for the darkest areas.
Long-tailed tits (Aegithalos caudatus) are a tiny common bird found throughout Europe and Asia, they live in areas of hedgerows, woodland, parks and gardens. I photographed the reference image of this cutie in my garden in Dorset, in the south of England, Uk, where we are lucky to have a family of long-tailed tits as regular visitors. Also known as the long-tailed bushtit, silver-throated tit or silver-throated dasher, the long-tailed tit is a very small black and white bird white with pink patches of feathers. They have a round body which gives them a very cute appearance and a long narrow tail that is larger than it’s body.
