Description
Looking from the north down towards the beautiful Loch Maree. Bordered on one side by the oakwoods and the mountain mass of Slioch, and on the other side by pinewoods of Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve, Loch Maree is regarded as one of the most scenically attractive areas of Scotland. The north-west of Scotland has some of the most beautiful, rugged scenery in the country. Loch Maree itself is the largest loch in the north-west Highlands lying in a glacial trough up to 110m deep.
