Description
This is a painting of Alice Drinkwater, known as Daily Alice from the World Fantasy winning novel Little, Big by John Crowley. It's one of my favorite books. The image is based on a scene early in the book where Daily Alice goes to the woods to speak with Grandfather Trout, who's swimming near the base of the rock she's sitting on.
