Description
Darkness into Light www.MyFathersHouseMinistries.com
Here is the story behind this painting. This past September of 2014 we had a conference, and I went to the house where the team was staying. One of the ladies began to prophesy how I was going to be doing art for those in darkness. I had no idea what that really meant. She said also the Hebrew number 22 was significant.
The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 22
The number 22, which is double eleven (which symbolizes disorder and chaos), can represent a concentration of disorganization. Jeroboam I, the very first king of Israel after the united kingdom split in two in 930 B.C., reigned for 22 years (930 to 909 B.C.). Ahab, considered the WORST Israelite king, also reigned for the same length of time (874 to 853 B.C.). King Amon ruled for only two years, and is consider one of the worst kings over Judah. He began his rule at the age of 22.
The Hebrew alphabet is made up of 22 letters, which are used to compose the Word of God. The word of God is called a lamp (Psalms 119:105, Proverbs 6:22), thus it is the light by which we are to live. The word light is found 264 times in Scripture. When 264 is divided by 12 (divine authority), you get 22, which represents light.
God created 22 things in the 6 days of Creation.
There are 22 books in the Aaronic (Levitical) Old Testament, which is the light of God for Israel. There are 22 generations from Adam to Jacob.
During Moses time, the tabernacle of God had exactly 22,000 Levites consecrated to serve.
Light is used 22 times in the Gospel of John. The 22nd time John uses the word, he quotes Jesus: "I have come as a light into the world..." (John 12:46). Christians are to walk in the light of Christ (John 3:21), and be the light of the world (Matthew 5:14 - 15).
The Apostle Paul’s epistle to the Hebrews, written to Greek-speaking Jews and Gentiles, is the 22nd book of the New Testament.
So I went outside after the word was given to me and I read Isaiah 9:
"Nevertheless the gloom will not be upon her, who is distressed,
As when at first He lightly esteemed
The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
And afterward more heavily oppressed her,
By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan,
In Galilee of the Gentiles.
2
The people who walked in darkness
Have seen a great light;
Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,
Upon them a light has shined.
3
You have multiplied the nation
And increased its joy;[a]
They rejoice before You
According to the joy of harvest,
As men rejoice when they divide the spoil."
As I was reading this about light into darkness a black feather landed on my shoulder. Over the next few minutes a blue feather and an orange feather came down also, supernaturally. I was amazed. I had no idea what I was suppose to do with the word. But two hours later I was having lunch at Salty’s restaurant on the waterfront in Seattle. We had about 30 of us there from the conference. I was sitting across from this man with long dread locks full of tattoos, and I had no Idea who he was. As I was talking with him, I found out he was from a heavy metal group called Korn, and that he had gotten saved. He left the group for 8 years and then came back. His name was Brian Welch. That night I was praying for him, and the Lord said this is the man that you need to do the painting for. The next day he came to our home to share, and the Lord said he needs to finish the painting. Well the next day he came over again, and the Lord says go get the canvas and start it together. As I’m writing this, I’m leaving to Georgia this Monday March 2, 2015 to meet Brian at the WOW conference so he can finish it.
Meaning of painting:
The lighthouse represents that God wants to bring the light into darkness. As I was painting the face of Jesus in the sky a huge face of the Father appeared in the upper left hand corner. I sort of painted the face of Jesus mostly out. You will see portals in the sky with a huge angel. You can see impressions of this generation coming and going through the gates.
Psalms 24: This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your face. Selah
7
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
8
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
9
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
God is going to bring this generation through doors and gates, Jesus is the door, that they will walk into. Jacob was at Bethel, and the Heavens were opened.
In the waves you see people, and on the lawn also. Jesus says launch out into the deep. Psalms says God will do wonders in the deep. Psalms 42 says, “deep calls unto deep.”
This is the generation of Jacob that will see the face of the Father and go through heavenly gates. They will have face-to-face encounters with the Lord. More and more the Heavens are opened up to those who love the Lord.
The stars in the mouth of the Father, speak that as we enter into God and God into us we enter the realm of eternity. You can see the dove in the window of the house, Jesus is written on the Lighthouse.
