Li Ti Dog is a digital abstract art paintography image that began with a photo I took of our beloved pit bull. The metamorphosis from lion and tiger strength and aggression to a dog that is truly considered part of the family says quite a lot about the too-often misunderstood pit bull.

American Pit Bull Terriers (APBT) can be aggressive if not trained properly and there are backyard breeders who breed poor quality stock resulting in personality disorders and physical abnormalities. Some APBTs are still used in the cruel "sport" of dog fighting. These dogs are large in body and even larger in heart. Many people who choose to own a pit bull will later decide that there's just too much dog for them to handle. When we adopted ours from the animal shelter, 80 percent of the dogs there were pit bulls and pit bull crosses.
