Description

Sunny, winter mountain scene, with an open water river running into the foreground. The river flows through the picture with snow and ice covered rocks after a late snow fall in April. There are large evergreens with fresh snowfall still hanging from their limbs, that surround the river. The water is a warm color from the glow of the sunny sky, and the rays of sunlight give a warm and calming effect to the overall scene. This a typical northwestern Colorado scene, where you can have temperatures of 70 degrees fahrenheit, followed by a blizzard with temperatures dropping below zero degrees fahrenheit the next day.
