This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

When visiting Oregon's Crater Lake with a friend a forest fire was burning near the park boundary. On returning to the rim after setting up camp we were amazed to find that the smoke had entered the crater and was slowly drifting towards us. I shot frantically hoping to capture the eerie scene before the smoke engulfed us as well as Wizard Island. Moments late, it did.

I was born, raised and still live in Portland Oregon in the United States. My artistic interests started to develop by at least the age of five and I have always been a visual thinker. An intense interest in natural history subjects ranging from reptiles, to astronomy, to ancient cultures, and many more soon took hold as well. Soon I began to draw and explore these many obsessive subjects though artistic media. A great high school art teacher saw potential in me and drilled me in artistic principles as he introduced me to media I had never imagined.
