Description
Llyn/Lake Geirionydd lies in a valley in North Wales where the northern edge of the Gwydyr Forest meets the lower slopes of the Carneddau mountains. The lake is almost a mile long and covers an area of 45 acres
There's something very soothing about looking out over a placid lake, its surface appearing to be a mirror, reflecting the beautiful sky.
The placidity of the area is surreal.
An entire day can be spent at the lake without even noticing the hours pass. I always enjoy the wonderful feeling I get from just being there.

so beautiful...the symmetry is surreal, and the difference in vegetation on right and left sides is interesting. LF
