Description
A tiny orange ladybird exploring a deep red rose. I found this little lady in my kitchen, on the oven which is no place for a cute little bug to be, so I rescued her and placed her on a rose I had growing on my balcony. She took to it quite happily and stayed for ages while I photographed her.
Later I learnt just how hard it is to process red! It took me a while to get the colour right, to match the depth of the red rose, but I'm pleased I took the time as every time I look at this little ladybug she makes me smile.
