Description

This painting began as a photo taken from my mom's balcony in Kona, Hawaii. As I painted the piece, the focus remained the vast, colorful Kona sky in more of a realistic style. Whereas, when painting everything other than the sky the only use of color was shades of blue in a somewhat abstract form.
