Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
Created with a start on canvas some many months ago and put away until I found a decent reference image showing the eyes of a Lion which I feel are one of the most important elements. Thanks to Morguefile for excellent reference images for artists I was able to complete my artwork. This work contains freehand traditional and freehand digital. The colors are rather wiild and came about through my not feeling this magnificent animal as it appears to us in nature, but more how it behaves in all the glory that only a Lion can show.
