Kentrosaurus is a genus of stegosaurid / stegosaurus dinosaur from the Late Jurassic of Tanzania. Its fossils have been found only in the Tendaguru Formation of Tanzania, dated to the Kimmeridgian stage, between about 155.7 4 Ma and 150.8 4 Ma.
