Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
PD: Reproduction of vintage old west photo of Judge Roy Bean ( born Phantly Roy Bean Jr,) In Macon County Kentucky. b. 1825. d. 1903. Self proclaimed ": Law west of the Pecos" In this photo Bean is sitting on a barrel of whiskey,while a horse thief is on a horse with his hands behind his back under the 'ice beer' sign'. Judge Bean charged $5.00 for weddings, and $10 dollars for a divorce. At the end of the ceremonies he would always proclaim " And may God have mercy on your souls ". His Saloon and courthouse was located along the Rio Grande river, in Val Verde, Texas. His saloon was named "The Jersey Lilly" after the British beauty and entertainer 'Lilly Langtry who he greatly admired.
