As a member of Urbana High School�s art club she was always helping out with projects around the school. In 2002, three of her computer generated artworks were selected to be displayed at the Discovery Channel building in Washington DC for 1 year. Shortly thereafter she won the 2004 Annapolis Film Festival poster contest for another computer generated design, 'Movies & Life'.
