A painterly effect has been applied to this view taken from the the far end of the jetty at Grand Rivers, KY, on Kentucky Lake. In the distance are rental cottages perched on the cliffs among the trees above the lake. During the warmer seasons this is a popular area with the local residents and tourists alike, who enjoy walks along the lake, fishing from the jetty and the shoreline. To the right of this scene, not pictured, is the lighthouse and entrance to the Lighthouse Landing Marina and Resort
