Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
The National Museum of the Marine Corps opened on November 10, 2006, and is located in Triangle, Virginia, adjacent to the Quantico Marine Corps Base. The museum is built around a large glass-enclosed central gallery, the Leatherneck Gallery. Here the machine gunner on a Curtiss Jenny trains his gun on a target.
The icons along our National Mall served as the backdrop for my first career in Washington, DC. Now they are some of the photographic subjects for my second career. I specialize in the DC region, the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast, with other excursions near and far.
