I shot this in November of 2005 while staying at Iron Blossam Lodge, Snowbird, Utah. We see these beautiful birds there every year during our week at Thanksgiving, and I made it one of my priorities that year to get a picture of one. This is number six of forty. After trying several spots and waiting for what seemed eternities I discovered some one tossing birdfeed from the balcony of their room. I got all forty shots in about a half hour or less.
