About Mark Papke
I am a photographer from Rochester, Ny. I took film photography many years ago in college and never really got into it. In 2008 I decided to try digital photography and got my first DSLR. I have been enjoying photography ever since. My specialty is landscape and nature photography. Waterfalls are one of my favorite subjects to shoot in case you couldn't tell. Mark – I wanted to let you know that your stunning image was a top-fiver pick (out of 45 initial candidates) in very stiff competition for selection as the March "Photo of the Month" in the Go Take a Hike Photography Group. Even though not advancing as a finalist, this image is most worthy of recognition as a superb photographic effort, so congratulations and well done!
