Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
Eugene Francis Savage (1883-1978) was a famous American painter known for his mural paintings and sculptures. In 1940 he completed a two year project for a series of nine 4x8 foot murals for the Matson Shipping line. For this commission, Savage made many exacting studies of customs and folkways of the Hawaiian natives. However, the award-winning murals were not installed as planned but were put in storage during the war years when the ships were used for U.S. troop transportation.
In 1948, only six of the nine mural images were reproduced by the shipping company into lithographed menu covers for the company's refurbished flagship "Lurline", "Island Feast" was one of those menu covers. Due to the increased demand, these menus were given away to passengers at the end of the voyage. This was the custom on all steamship lines. This stopped in the 1980s aboard most ships when menus were standardized.

I've lived in Hawaii since 2002, 1200 feet above sea level, on the small rural island of Moloka'i. It is very quiet here, with only about 7,400 residents. I appreciate the quiet life after spending 35 years as a commercial illustrator, senior art director and design director for major advertising agencies and design studios in Chicago, San Francisco and Palo Alto California. I've always loved cooking. In 2002 that love led me to a degree in the Culinary Arts just before moving to Hawaii. Since then I designed and built a house, worked in local restaurants, self-published three cookbooks, and took up photography as a hobby. Now retired, I spend most of my time developing recipes and photographing them, plus researching and writing...

Such a very soul touching, and very an intense capture making the creation one can study in details without missing anything inside! As I see the different colorful cultures of Hindu merged in one with merge of world wide identities as to be one in very own gravity! Like the poses the mixing up Asian's colors with features of Africa, and drawn in America! Lovely as per pots of water carried with web of an artist as per be able modifying Life basic's skills, like the fruits covered with eco-friendly covers so do not get squeezed with each other to get wasted without going inside stomachs! Such marvelously wonderful capture making so much high senses! You are such marvelous humble soul my friend, and I am so honored for be able have right calling you my friend, amen!
