Description

Shipwreck beach, or Navagio Beach, is a beautiful beach and an exposed cove; it is also referred to as 'Smugglers Cove'. It is located on the north-west coast of the island Zakynthos, in the Ionian Islands of Greece. It has been so named since 1983, when the alleged smuggler ship "Panagiotis" was wrecked on the beach while transporting cigarettes. Sheer limestone cliffs, thin white sand, and the crystal turquoise waters make this uique in beauty bay a famous and extra-ordinary travel destination that attracts thousands of tourists yearly. The strip of the beach is accessed only by boat. This is the capture of the north side of the beach, combining the stunning colors of the ionian sea, the white sand and the lime rocks.
