About Adam Long

Educated in the St. Louis region he has a BA in Art Education from Maryville University, an MA in Studio Art and an MFA in Sculpture from Fontbonne University. Although this artwork is "dealing with sudden death of a loved one", as said in the description, I also see it as dealing with the death of a mighty old tree (anthropomorphically personified), which is a sad thing in itself...
