This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Base painting for the vintage movie poster ''Ice Station Zebra'', a Cold War-era suspense thriller film released in 1968, directed by John Sturges and starring Rock Hudson, Ernest Borgnine, and Patrick McGoohan. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Alistair MacLean and is set against the backdrop of the intense geopolitical tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
The story revolves around a top-secret mission to retrieve sensitive photographic data from a remote Arctic research station known as Ice Station Zebra. The mission is led by Captain James Ferraday, played by Rock Hudson, a seasoned and resourceful submarine commander. He is tasked with navigating his nuclear-powered submarine, the USS Tigerfish, through treacherous Arctic waters to reach the isolated research station.
