This piece belongs to a collection of paintings called "After the storm" inspired by the passing of hurricane Dorian in The Northern Bahamas in September 2019.
Apart from devastation of nature and homes. Hurricane Dorian took many lives.
This painting is a tribute to those children who didn't survive and were taken by the water.

Paola Correa de Albury was born in Colombia in 1978. From a very young age her curiosity and creativity has taken her on artistic journeys around the world. A former career in advertising and teaching allowed Paola to discover the power of visual arts and communication. In the formative years of her artistic journey, Paola began to explore the different continents of the world through the medium of photography. Falling in love in the Bahamas and with The Bahamas in 2006, Paola continued her career as a Spanish teacher, formed a family, and found artistic inspiration every single day.
