Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.
The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.
Metal prints are extremely durable. They're lightweight. They won't bend, and they're water resistant.

Artist's Description
The Defoe Shipbuilding Company laid the keel for the Charles L Hutchison in 1952 and she sailed for the Pioneer Steamship Company. Her name was later changed to the Voyageur Independent.
In 1961 the Pioneer Steamship Company folded she was sold to the Ford Motor Company and renamed the Ernest R. Breech. As the steel industry dried up in the 1980s, she began hauling grain.
In 1988 she was sold the Kinsman Lines and renamed the Kinsman Independent. She ran hard aground in 1990 and suffered extensive damage, making repairs doubtful. However, she was towed to Thunder Bay and repairs were done during the 1990-1991 winter layup.
In 2005 she was sold to Voyageur Marine Transport Ltd. and renamed Voyageur Independent. She underwent extensive refitting and work on her propulsion systems.
In 2007 Lower Lakes Towing acquired the Voyageur Independent and in 2008 renamed her the Ojibway.

I developed an interest in photography at a young age, often following my father around while he took pictures. From that I learned the basics and purchased my first camera while still in high school. I learned more through reading and trial and error. My first formal training came in 2013 when I took a basic photography class at a community college. During high school I became fascinated with the freighters that sailed on the lakes. The boats intrigued me and for a time I wanted to work on them. My career took me down a different path, but I never lost my interest in the boats.
