Description
Taken at Three Peaks Iron County Utah. Look at this skull and one can see the flat teeth of a small herbivore. The predator has cracked it's skull. It is small, the size of my fist. The jeweled colors of the lichen curry yellow, bright orange and green sprawl along the granite. A thriving mound of moss is attached up under the rock in the upper left opening above the skull ( it looks similar to fur ) . The decomposing granite unfolds in jagged nuggets of feldspar, quartz and black beauty marks of biotite. The old Juniper branches are so perfectly placed.
