About Tiki Bender
This far flung adventure all began when I was thrown overboard at a very young age. Adrift a sea for days unknown clinging to an old waterlogged rum barrel I washed ashore somewhere deep in the South Pacific. Waking to a fragrant breeze and the rustling of palm fronds I discovered I had been taken in by a band of wild Wahines. Raising me as their own I absorbed the cultural ways and traditions of this wild and exotic cast of characters. Left alone for days on end as they foraged for coconuts and wild boar I was compelled to indulge in the arts. Years later I was rescued as a young man by a passing merchant ship bound for the mainland. Various paths and studios later I have found my way to you.
