Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

An antique map from the year 1755 of the Great Lakes. This wonderful map from the public domain is by Jacques Nicolas Bellin and its original name is Partie Occidentale de la Nouvelle France ou du Canada (Western Part of New France or Canada). Included are the five Great Lakes - Superior, Huron, Michigan, Erie and Ontario in glorious detail. This map has been restored, converted to black and blue and has a little hand blended texture.
I'm a travel photographer and photo artist. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
