Description
Henry Ford was involved in the Railroad industry during the 1920's and thought Petroleum would run out some day and had 2 Large electric Trains produced at the Ford River Rouge Complex in Dearborn Michigan and Had many railroad lines of track laid and in 1925 had these large Concrete Centenaries made to provide electricity to the 2 large Electric Engines and thought the Ford Rouge Power Plant was Large enough to produce enough electricty to provide power as far as Ohio but after many problems due to lack of Power and Federal Government regulations with Railroad rules, Henry Ford sold the Railroad to Pennsylvania Railroad in 1930 and had both Engines cut up at the Rouge Complex and melted down into steal for Cars and Trucks.
As of 2014 all the Concrete Cantenaries still stand Solid with no problems to the designs of the tall structures and were built solid and stand as a Historic Symbol of the past for almost 100 years now.
