The lovely brickwork of this venerable Heceta Head Lighthouse has been painstakingly restored bit by bit. The results are astounding in how beautiful the workmanship of the original masons truly is now that the white layers of paint have been removed. The curving black staircase is shown as it rises several stories to the light itself. Truly a beautiful piece of architecture and a pleasure to visit and to photograph.
