I wanted a to capture a joyful 1940's kind of classic mood and feel - only in full color. This is a play on the song "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" Instead of raindrops, colorful gumdrops are falling down.
Rather than have them fall from the sky, the gumdrops are falling from within the shelter of the umbrella. The symbolism is that whatever thoughts and feelings you carry within your shelter (here it is the umbrella), it will 'rain' down on you.
