Artwork from the coal pier in Philadelphia. It's located in an empty industrial area, behind construction, and through a field of weeds and trash. As the sun rises light floods through the pillars and touches the paintings left by graffiti artists, taggers, and paint ball enthusiasts. It's a colorful place, but still lonely - and always feels a bit dangerous.

The old coal pier is no longer used, and is sometimes called the "Graffiti Underground." Coal was stored in the silo's and then transported out to the pier via conveyor belt. It's a favored site for graffiti artists, fishermen, and now photographers.
