Description
My favorite time of one of my favorite drives is after I have turned south off the Interstate at Fort Stockton, Texas towards Alpine, Texas and the Big Bend area. Usually, we arrive there in the late afternoon, just as the sky starts to glow rose and gold. Twin peaks and Paisano peak in the distance appear blue in the dusty sunlit air.
