"Geese Family" by Patti Deters. Four young fluffy yellow goslings and one parent Canadian Goose out for an afternoon of swimming on a lake with their reflections disappearing into the green water. These waterfowl are difficult to capture facing the camera and I felt lucky to get the whole family floating with heads looking towards the camera, totally unafraid. Hi! My artwork is photography of all things nature, especially wildlife, flowers, and landscapes. Many of the flowers and wildlife images are from my local area around Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Others are from photo trips taken with my husband of 40+ years. Some of the images are what I like to call "documentary art" - that is, I capture the best photos from wherever I am and then enhance them - sometimes a little, sometimes a lot - to make my own kind of "real life" art. Other images are more digital and simple, and those tend to portray the softer side of nature.
