Description
There are pandals all over Vrindavan, where Shri Krishna lived, to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi on this auspicious day. According to Hindu mythology, Devakinandan and Lord Ganesha have a special bond. People believe that looking at the moon on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi is bad luck. Else the, one can expect to be the target of false accusations and criticism. In the puranas, it is stated that even if an individual gets a glimpse of the moon by mistake, he or she can break the curse by learning about Ganesh Chaturthi's story.
Kuber, one of Paradise's wealthiest residents, organized a lavish feast for Lord Ganesha, who was revered by all the Gods. The elephant-headed god savored every morsel of delicious food to the brim. His stomach was about to burst due to his overindulgence, but he didn't realise it at the time. The Lord was unable to bend due to his large belly and Ganesha's short build. While laughing at Ganesha's misfortune, the moon looked down on him. Lord Ganesha became enraged after being mocked and cursed the moon. Even Shri Krishna couldn't escape Ganesha's wrath due to the strength and force of the curse.
