Description
As our race continues to consume itself generation after generation... defeating ourselves with pointless greed and a never ending compulsion towards material gains... as we neglect each others basic needs as fellow human beings in order to further ourselves as individuals... driven by our own petty ignorance and hatreds... manipulated by our own fears and delusions... we are being watched, studied, and scrutinized by beings of greater intelligence. When we have betrayed and weakened each other to the point that we can no longer stand side by side... they will come.

- Future Cattle, Indeed... What if Aliens breed us, just like we breed cattle, for food ?

Many writers and artists are gifted with a prophetic sense as they create. This is one of those brilliant creations, John! Your words and image can be applied to 2022 in such a powerful way! You are very gifted, John!

John, looking again at your striking and ominous artwork, I wonder if the 'Future' word in your title should not already be 'Present' ? And I wonder, should we hope and rely on an outside force to save us from ourselves ?

Nail on the head , John with the title. I can read this image many ways and for me that is what makes it specialfav.

John, you are right, the present state of the world can indeed be terrifying. However, I wonder, has it not Always been so? I remember the Cuban Missile Crisis - when the world was five minutes away from Nuclear Annihilation. Also it might help to know the the current news avalanche is always negative, and as such presents an unrealistic, unbalance view of current affairs. Also, about 98% of all the scientists who ever lived, are here with us right now. So I am a pessimistic optimist or an optimistic pessimist who says: The race for us humans to survive is still on - and in no way already decided. There is still hope. :-)
