Description
Spotted these two old trucks near my brother's place in the Sierra foothills in California. They sat by the road like friends to the end with all their rust and memories. I don't know if they were abandoned. Someone may have placed them there to enhance the ambiance of their foothills property.
It seems not uncommon for people in the area to park their old trucks or cars in such a way as to make them pleasing to see, like a bit of history.

Congratulations Mary on being featured in the Any Old Thing From Anywhere Group with these two rusty old trucks parked at the edge of a greenbelt, wonderful contrast.

Maybe this is why there are so many home associations these days, Mary....anyway, nostalgic and sort of sad...maybe someone was gonna restore them someday and procrastinated a bit. Still it is a nice capture that creates a lot of different takes on this! F/L

Hi Mary.... I sure like this image. Those are some old classic trucks for sure...and you right I don't believe they will be going anywhere soon. ;-) fv
Mary Deal replied:
Thanks, Nick. I believe they are still up there in the foothills near my brother's house. I like to visit my brother to also see all the images I have and how they've changed.

Thanks, Joan. I don't see these going any place, so they will be together for a long time.
